Grief Healing
A Guided Group Program
Sometimes the most meaningful healing happens in the company of others who truly understand. CORE Purpose Therapy offers structured programs for people navigating grief and significant emotional experiences, bringing people together to reflect, process, and move forward alongside one another.
Grief Healing Group
Grief is one of the most personal experiences there is. It can affect everything, your mood, your relationships, your sense of who you are and where you belong. And it rarely moves in a straight line.
For many people, grief brings waves of emotion that are hard to make sense of alone. Sadness, anger, numbness, confusion, sometimes all in the same afternoon.
The Grief Healing Group is a small, carefully structured program designed to meet participants where they are. Each group is shaped around the needs of the people in it. The focus is on getting curious about what you're carrying, finding language for it, and beginning to move through it alongside others who get it.

How We Work Together
Therapy looks different for everyone and that's the point. Sessions are grounded in trauma-informed care and draw from approaches like CBT, ACT, inner child and core belief work, adapted to what you actually need.
The focus is always on understanding yourself more deeply and building from there, at a pace that makes sense for you.
Grief Looks Different for Everyone
Grief doesn't only come from losing someone. It can come from the end of a relationship, an estrangement, a diagnosis, a career that no longer fits, or a version of yourself you've had to let go of. It can come from growing beyond a family dynamic that once defined you, or from finally acknowledging something painful that was never fully processed.
If you're carrying something that feels like loss, even if you're not sure what to call it, this program was designed with that in mind.
Who This Group Is For
This program is for anyone navigating grief, including the kinds that don't always get recognized as grief.
This may be a good fit if you:
Are navigating the loss of a loved one
Are processing the end of a relationship, a divorce, or an estrangement
Are grieving a loss of identity, a career, a community, or a life you expected to have
Are experiencing grief that feels complicated, layered, or hard to explain to others
Feel like your grief has been minimized or misunderstood
Feel stuck or overwhelmed and aren't sure how to move through it
Are looking for supported time to process alongside others who understand

You may be experiencing:
anxiety, depression, irritability, or a heaviness that's hard to shake
grief, loss, or the quieter losses that don't always have a name
trauma or past experiences that keep showing up in how you feel or relate to others
relationship and family patterns that feel stuck or keep repeating
a health diagnosis, career shift, or life transition that has stirred up more than you expected
a growing sense that you've lost the thread of who you are
Whatever you're carrying, it deserves care and attention. You don't have to share everything to benefit. Listening and sitting with others in the process can be just as meaningful.
